Looking for tips on a mid-sized, mid-priced phone with decent camera

Hi all - looking for some advice for a replacement to my Galaxy S7, which has been and remains a pretty decent phone. I'd like it to have a decent camera, but without it being too big! Something that's not too much bigger than the S7 would be ideal - to give you more of an idea of what I've considered so far, I was thinking maybe an S10e, a Huawei P20 (maybe Pro model for battery & camera)or a Pixel (possibly the Pixel 4a, but that's likely to be a bit ££ on the monthly costs, as it's not out yet). A 3a might be ok, but not sure you can get new ones any more and am wary of used items. A wide angle lens would be nice, but ironically, most of above I've considered lack this. Trying to keep ££ down to circa £25 a month if poss - but I may be asking too much??

    TIA

You can get the Pixel 3A for £299:
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113749198102

It was cheaper last month,so you missed some deals.

Could you clarify "mid-priced"? I just bought an A-71 which, to me, was mid-priced but is below the S-series. I'm very happy with it, but then, I don't have much phone experience to compare it to.

If you're happy with the S7, then something like the A71/A90 might suit, as while it is a lower series, it's several years newer. I would therefore suspect they'll be comparable.

The screen size on those 2 Samsung models are a bit over and above what I'd been looking for tbh. Will take a look at the Pixel 3a link, as the £300 was around the price mark I was thinking. It's missing the wide angle camera, but I understand is a very competent snapper. Thanks.
