Nah Fam, I think she means one of them pay so much a week on it, like pay a deposit then sort the rest out in weekly or monthly payments.

Catalogues are probably your best bet, can't think where else you could get one on credit, maybe someone like cash convertors or whatever if someone takes one in ? Pretty sure shops like that'll give you credit too

Yeah they charge a bomb, maybe it would be cheaper to get a loan if you really need credit ? At say 8/9%? I know the catalogues charge about 27% ARP Dont they? Might be cheaper just to do that, then you get a choice of where you want to get it from, as anywhere apart from Argos are pretty exspensive.

    Time to do some maths...

Catalogue's are a massive rip off, even before they apply any kind off studidly high interest rates. Forget that option, they are just loan sharks with a fancy catalogue of overpriced goods. Some Dixon's, which are a bit cheaper sell mobiles and can offer 0% interest on certain products over a certain value.

But just why in hell would you want to do this? It does not make any sence at all. The D500 is about £350 offline. Spreed over 12 monthly payments thats £29 at month - even at 0% interest!
Most catalogues of course charge up to 29.9% and over - a massive £37.89 per month - £454.65 in total! And all this is before you even pay for any calls

But for £29 pounds a month you could have a FREE D500 on a contract plus all the free calls/texts that includes.

Of course, all this is providing you are over 18 years old. If you are not you won't be getting a credit arrangement, credit card or a contract

you can get contracts like O2 online which you get 500 free texts, even if you over it will be cheaper than get one from a catalogue!

Yep, thats what i am on. O2 Online 200 - £29.99 with 200 Xnetwork minutes and 500 texts (or the same tarrif and price, but with 300 min and 50 texts). Probably the best deal around for £30 (has been for a year or more).
