    Nokia 6680 - question

Apologies in advance for a dumb question(s). The Nokia 6680 only appears to be offered on '3' contracts. Will this phone still work on the 2G networks (T-Mobile in particular). If so, would it be a waste of time using it on 2G networks as I guess I wouldn't be using many of the features built into it?

Yes, it will work on a 2G network. The only feature that you'll be missing is video telephony. All other features should work over GPRS fine, although it'll be a bit slower at loading webpages, etc.

Alternatively, you could wait until the 6681 comes out. It's the same phone but without the extra camera and 3G support.

Thanks for the reply. I'm really after a smartphone that's very small and one that will sync my Outlook 2003 (Calendar, Contacts and Tasks). Is there anything smaller than the 6680/6681 that will do this and allow me to make updates to my diary, contacts and To-Do lists on the phone and sync them back to my PC?

I tried the P910i but had issues with Bluetooth and my car kit so I'm back to square one trying to find a very small phone with a few simple PDA features (+ Bluetooth that hopefully will work with my car kit!).
