Is this phone going to be out on the Orange Network and does anyone know when and how much it will be?

    Thanks all

Price will prob be around the £200-£250 mark (ontop of contract) when it first comes out but that will drop within the first 6months.

No idea if it'll be on Orange, it will be out on the other networks way before orange though.

Looking at about september i think for general release.

Was told it won't be on T-Mobile however as they getting a D750i instead of the K750i and W800i. Well apparently anyway i may have been decieved.

The TMobile D750 version is basically the same phone just a bit customised... like they had black T630s which noone else did.

I very much doubt that. If it is, that well be a terrible rip off. The K750i is essentially exactly the same phone and thats free, even on some £20 contracts. Only difference is the colour and very slightly different firmware will a couple of media player options not on the K750i, such as running it as a media player and having the phone turned off.

Oh yeah, it comes with a 512mb memory stick, rather than the 64mb that comes with the k750i.

I'm told they are holding off release so they can put it head to head with Nokia N90 (N91?) MP3 phone.

They have not said yet is what formats it will support. It's would nice to have Sony Atrac format for gappless playback of mix CD's etc.

Its gonna cost more than ths K750 as itll be for the specialist market (like P-series and S700i) maybe not £200 like originally thought but it'll be more expensive!

They will charge a premium just for the MemoryCard.

The S700i was £250 the first week it was out, £200 2weeks later and £100 1&half months after, now its free 6months later...
