Not saying this officially but some of the 750's seem to have a few issues, we have had loads of them back with phone software/camera problems =/

Havent had any complaints with PC suite, just the handset itself.

Have you tried using bluetooth rather than the datacable to see if it works any better?

ahh I was going to get a K750i now I hate the new nokia 6230i, but I think I will just go with a trusted D500, the K750i seems to be just as buggy now as the beta handset I previewed for hexus
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net

What bugs will they be then? I have one, my girlfriend has one and 5 of my friends have one. We have had no problems really. One person had one that kept turning itself off Nokia style, but had that swaped. I notice that sometimes the right joystick shortcut function 'forgets' what I have set it to. Only seems to happen with the calender. Otherwsie great phone.

    Well,

I have a D500 and Ive had it about 3 months now, I have noticed some issues with it but overall I do think its a cracking phone, Im not sure what Dom is on about with teh camera as it takes very good pictures in 1280 x1024, there are a range of camera options like spot focus and a decent multishot mode, the video cam is not amazing but its ok doesnt have a brilliant frame rate but I have yet to see a phone that does so far. The camera is easily one of the best I have seen (compared to K700, V3 and that nokia jobbie). The screen on the samsung is also very nice, I have allways rated samsung screens and the D500 has a large bright 256k colour screen, although it doesnt do the pictures justice you need to get them on your PC really, obviously its not as good as my 5mp digi cam but its a very acceptable snapper, Ive taken some fairly good pictures with it.

Mp3 player is ok, I like you can use the mp3s as ringtones and the speaker is pretty good.. however if you want to use this as your mp3 Id say you will be dissapointed, they make you use the samsung headphones that come with it and they do not sound great nor are they comfortable.

I have al;so experienced a couple of reboots during WAP browsing and also once during a bluetooth operation, I wouldnt say this is a major problem as I have had a total of 3 crashes over the period I have been using it. apart from that one failure during BT transfer the BT has been spot on, cannot fault it.

Also I think the design is very nice and slick, feels good in your hand and the slide action is better than any remote control battery cover for fiddling with. Im not sure what Dom means about it being a brick either, its really no bigger than the K700, id say its only slightly fatter than my old T62i and about the same length.

There are a couple of other niggles as well, for example it never seems to remember that I want T9 for textinga nd I have to set it for each message before I begin (sometimes you dont tho... confusingly enough). I have not experienced any dictionary problems and in fact I often find it has words in I would never have expected, sherlock is one that comes to mind.
