    Best phone for £30

Whats the best mobile for £30? Preferebly on vodaphone and it has to be pay as you go. Something simple to use. I was thinking about this: http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/phones/.../220123/prices
But this also looks good: http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/phones/.../338453/prices
    Thanks

Personally I have a Nokia 1100 as a backup/work phone. £19.99. Dead small. Has torch. No pointless colour screen so the battery lasts forever. Man I forgot how long phones lasted before colour screens became the norm. Up to a week of good usage. I might have to buy another incase I ever lose it.

Got my on Orange. But all phones can be unlocked for free in seconds now anyway, from the comfort of your own home

Just seen that one of those links was for a 1100 and it was £33.92. Don't do it! Just about every high street shop it doing them for £24.99 (Link, Phones4U etc). Woolworths had them on Orange 2 weeks ago for £19.99 (got one and unlocked it soon as I got home and use my O2 sim). Get one soon, thet are going out of production soon i am told. Or there are loads on eBay. A mate got one 6 months old for a tenner. Blinding little phone if you just want the basics and bomb proof too.

i don't know whether this is allowed, but there is a thread on money saving expert very similar to all this... i.e. finding a cheap fone etc.

but the nokia 1100 not only looks cool, and feels nice to the touch it is user friendly and damn cheap too!

Go and look on ebay, I got a Nokia 3200 off ebay for under £30, and its not a bad wee phone, camera, colour screen etc and the LED torch has got to be the best function on a mobile ever.

I know its not Vodaphone or a Nokia but for £30 inc vat and delivery you can get a Siemens C65 (Orange) which has a camera http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/h.../pay_as_you_go
I'd still go with the Nokia myself, but its an option.
