Remember when the T39 came out, it was a good phone, one of the first to sport bluetooth and I don't remember sofware being as much a problem with other Ericsson handsets back then in comparison to now since the merge.
Rhyth is selling:
Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 XR Di ll LD Aspherical (IF) £230 +pp

I had issues with a T68 it used to ring the first number on the phonebook which just happened to be a local India takaway! After a number of replacment handsets the handset was boxed back up and I stopped using the Indian as it would lock there line up for hours until I noticed it had dialed out. So I thought it best to keep clear!
I moved on to a 6310 from T68, then onto a 6230 which was crap to use IMO so I bought a secondhand 6310i and sent the 6230 back!.
I think these modern phones are pants full of bugs and it's time the quality came back rather than features.
I have been due an upgrade with my service provider now for over 3 years but I cannot find a phone I like! It has now come to the stage because I haven't upgraded in so long I now get a discount on my bill![]()
But seriously personaly I want a phone with an easy to read display, the option of a car kit, bluetooth, simple easy to use menu not menu within menu and a decent size keypad as some of us have fingers more like sausages![]()
I'll just point out though that I have been around mobile phone for about 17 years so I have owned and used plenty in that time!.

Three of my mate got them about the same time as me, mine lasted a week! the others all came round to the same thoughts after a month or so but by that time they where stuck with them.Originally Posted by Marcos

do you mean the 6230i? thats has a central button but the 6230 has a 4 way pad, if you mean the 6230i then I fully agree with you.

It was defo the 6230.
I could never get into the menu I wanted as I found it over sensitive.
My sausage fingers don't help either tho

guess its all in experience, i think the trick with the 6230 is not to try and push the center of the d-pad down, but try to push the entire d-pad down straight with the ball of your thumb.
