For your info Ben, here is what has happened -
SE Release the K750i. It's full of bugs. People on ALL networks (worldwide) report the bugs. SE quickly release an update on thier SEUS site for owners to update thier K750i. But SE don't consult O2 properly other the changes to the firmware. The update stops the GPRS working on O2's network. SE realise thier misstake but it's too late. The update is pulled from the SEUS site and O2 are forced to recall all K750i. Meanwhile, all the other networks continue to sell the older bug ridden K750i's.
Personaly, i think O2 have gone about the problems the best way. All the other networks have continued to sell the bug ridden K750i's and not bothered to do anything about it. That said, O2 were forced into it by SE's misstake with the firmware.
It's worth the wait, especially if you get a new bug free K750i. They are by far the best non-smart phone on the market.
As for tariffs, I am on O2 Online 200, which is £30 a month. However O2 have done a deal with me where I only pay £20 a month for it and get 300 mins. My girlfreind is on O2 250, which is £30 a month. But has also done a deal with O2 and only pays HALF her line rental (£15). We both got free K750i's AND bluetooth headsets.
