    Your Thoughts on Nokia 6680?

Wondering what anyone who has one thinks of this new symbian handset.
Some feedback would be nice too, like on how good video or music playback is, battery life, photo quality etc.. im wondering if the 220mhz processor will finally allow smartmovie to playback full frame videos

Managed to grab this mobile from vodafone for 50 quid with 100 mins, 50 texts for 8 quid pm including insurance scheme. Seems they really do go out of their way to please customers who are ending their contracts

Looks really feature packed but was a bit chunky for my use. I went for a 6230i instead.

    I've got one.

If you're looking for a smartphone in a regular phone form-factor then nothing can touch the Nokia 6680 at the moment. The camera is good and the lens over it is welcome. It's got 3G making downloads super fast and video telephony is a laugh to try out.

Unlike some previous Nokia models, it has stereo sound and the sound quality is very good when playing OGGs through OggPlay. Video playback is very decent too, especially as the screen is very nice.

It sounds like you got an excellent deal.

I'm very happy with my 6680 - well sized and shepd keypad. Runs Tomtom Mobile and has a pretty passable camera.

Only beef is that the USB cable doesn't charge it like the SPV ones do.

How does it compare to the c500?

I know the c500 is what, a year and a half old now or something, but how does it match up

I find it much easier to use than my c500 although the c500 seems to have a better battery life

Can't wait to give this handset a try, apparently it'll be delivered by today, unfortunately I've got 6 hours of school to wade through first!

How are the apps for those smartphones? Symbian is it?

I heard they are more popular than the Windows version, so does it have more emulators and good games and apps?

Just recieved it and i cannot think of any other words to sum it up with than just one - amazing.
Its the BEST symbian handset i've ever used and its sooo much faster than the other models i was used to using. The interface is improved greatly, the stereo sound is a real bonus, and the loudspeaker is also much louder than my 7610 VERY pleased! Well done vodafone!

Symbian Series 60 has about 2,500 apps available for it. Microsoft Windows Smartphone Edition has around 800 for it.

Look forward to games using bluetooth, the camera and the location you're based in. Generally Symbian offers more functionality to 3rd party developers than Microsoft.
