Phone fit for the bin ? I'll have it if its goin beggin
Where did you pick that up from? I dont know myself, as the LED's in there are TINY and very powerful, they probably are replaceable but itll be a tricky job I imagine, a nokia repairs shop would sort you out, but it might cost you a bit, you could have a go with a T9 torx screwdriver, but I think its goin to be tooo small for a soldering iron, as lookin in my recently ripped apart 8310 the LEDs seem to be 1mm sqaure

It should still be under warrant if you got it less than 12 months ago.
Check Nokia's website for your nearest Nokia Service Centre.
Jon, you live near Oswestry don't you? There is a phone shop there which is a registered Noia service center. I had a 8210 with a faulty screen and they repaired it free of charge. If its less than 12 months old they will do it for you (there is a code you can type into the phone which will tell you when it was made). I forgot the name of the shop, but if you named it i would probably be able to tell you if thats the one.
And funnily enough, i also had a 6230 with a faulty back light which was over 12 months old. I sold it on eBay for 80 quid about 4 months ago (with the fault and age fully explained in the listing). Faulty mobiles sell very well on eBay if you can't fix it.
