    O2 PAYG Minimum contract term

Went into CPW to enquire about porting my Vodafone contract (out of contract) to PAYG O2. Ultimately going to port back to Vodafone as the 'new' contract deals is much better than upgrade deals (even after threatening to leave) - AND I want to keep the same number. Anyway - CPW guy says there _may_ be a minimum contract length and he wasn't sure. Can't find any info on the o2 website. Anyone know if there is a minimum contract length on PAYG before I can port my number again?

I would have thought so too - but the 'experts' in CPW said they may not port your number until 3 months has elapsed.#

So I thought I ask some real experts on here.
