    Nope.

I left it for about 2hours on 'always on', then surfed a few pages, then left it another 20mins on 'always on'

Then i put the clock right and set it back to 'when needed'

I just realised, my phone was sitting with GPRS available to it and it didn't update! GPRS is "on". Do you have to physically start a browser session to set the time?

My Nokia 6230 was updated automatically with GPRS on and GMT set to "0". My Dad has a 6610 with GPRS but I believe this requires a connection to a WAP page before it's updated...

depends on the phone I think n70 did it straight away, 6230 straight away also - g'f's 6230 didn't, as her gprs settings are faulty and can't be unlocked.

I used to have my K750i sitting on a GPRS link permanantly but it totally shot my battery so I don't bother now.
