I have a rather old Toshiba PDA and use it mainly for sat nav. My choice of equipment was a Fortuna clip-on bluetooth GPS, TOM TOM2 and a Arkon powered amplified PDA mount. This gives me quiet a bit of flexibility as some other software I use makes use of the GPS whilst walking. Going bluetooth does cost a bit extra, but does give flexibility with positioning of the GPS unit, which can also be chrged from the PDA holder.

    Have a look at

thy have reviews, product speciific help forums and lots of info.
