    Aw shucks! I really liked the look of the M5000, that flip rotating screen was just the kinda gadget I like to play with.

    Oh well, time to take a look at what the M3100 has to offer.

    The M5000 was released in quarter 3 of 2005 and is now discontinued. The M3100 would give most of the functionality with a slightly smaller keyboard and over all size.

    HTC is rumoured to be designing the HTC Omni with some scatted reports around the internet about it, it sounds like this is the M5000's replacement but no news on the release of it yet. If you google "HTC Omni" you shoud find quite a lot about it.

    I went into an Orange shop a few weeks back and I think it was the M3100 I was playing with, it was only one of the display ones but the sliding mechanism on it felt really flimsy.

    I just got this phone, long story short but virtually new! AND I FREAKING LOVE IT. I'm not for one to get some overpriced Motorola phones that depreciate way too quickly, I love something that is nice and functional - and this is it.

    Wifi is awesome, I tend to pick up random spots during bus journeys all the time. I also got Skype working via WiFi which is particularly awesome, and even internet radio stations >: D. As normal I'm encoding a load of stuff into DivX material to watch on it, and loading a load of other crap of mine on there. Still yet to discover all the magic of this phone really

    Shame though that Opera mini or whatever it is on there isn't free.

    I really like this phone. Due to its fairly chunky appearance, I get lots of totally polarised feedback: 'great gadget' or 'great doorstop', depending on the reviewer's technical inclination

    Plays Sonic and Monkey Island, too, with suitable emulators.

    Yeah I've had such comments like "ooh is that a Sidekick?" or "whoa it's a mini laptop". When I say it's a phone too they go lol.

    @ nichomach, as cool as that is I would get slapped around in college for using that. ;_;

    Yeah, but when you hit them back, it'd have some weight behind it...
