I don't know about the k750i so I can answer most of your questions related to it.
Regarding the larger memory stick, are you sure it is not a converter for the memory stick duo? The mobile phones use Memory stick duo (smaller). But many card reader and some devices (e.g. some Sony camera) uses the larger Memory stick format. The converter allows you to use the memory stick duo on those devices.
Silent: Hold #
Lock: Press * and the top left button
Yeah, i think your right TooNice, cheers.
Caged, the silent mode works, thanks very much, dunno about the lock though, if i press * and the top left button.ie select, it trys to call, and if i press * and top left on pad, ie 1, it does nothing????
To lock you need to press * and then the top right menu button while at the standby screen.
The file transfer thing is a pain, my 750i does it to for some reason. Basically I just give it another 10 mins on top of when its says its finished and then use the Stop Hardware thing by the clock in windows- Normally does it for me but I have bought a memory card reader off ebay as it should be quicker. I think the W800i only lets you transfer tracks using the software (if you want to play them that is).
Ben
Yeah I meant right, I'm a large retard.
Right-click the USB drive, and under properties, make sure it's "Optimised for quick removal"
You could always use programs like "Phone Explorer" to copy the files too.
I personally transfer all files via Bluetooth, so its not really an issue for me, but the fastest way for that kinda size of files is to use a USB2 reader
Also those with a K750i, you can flash to a W800i - they're the same phone ;) heh
I've done it, just dont be a plum like me, and back up your contacts, games and files first :P
I don't see the point in flashing to W800i, i love it how it is.
Thanks to everyone for helping and stuff. Probly gonna buy a 1GB card of Ebay.
The only real reason for flashing up the W800i is the newer version of the media player that allows you to search by artist, track title, etc and do sorting.
Also, it has a "flight mode" so you can listen to music without the phone being fully on
It can also be flashed with an unlocked firmware, to use on any network.Quote:

Could you give more detail. Do you mean that MP3's you have created wont play when drag and dropped onth the memory card? What encoder are you using?Quote:
