Indeed the frequent change of hardware is frustrating... However, in regards to phones the 'changes' aren't too great. Personally I use my phone to phone people and text, sometimes play a game, sometimes check my email.. I don't need a video-calling, sky-watching, megapixel phone.. That, generally, does not work as well as the simpler model. From personal experience with this phone it is tricky to use, and so I am not particularly drawn to it. The V3 was attractive, however, this model is not slim and attractive, merely larger and more difficult to use for the Nokia/Sony convert.

I'm happy with my K750i.. As for brands? Sony or Nokia are the way to go for sure... That's just my opinion though.

I agree on the Sony or Nokia bit... Although I am leaned more towards the Nokias through prefrence.

I only ever use my phone for Texting, Calling or possibly playing a game or taking a quick pic if my Digicam isn't to hand, but that's rare. I like a phone that puts functionality and robustnuss over everything else, which is why I like the Nokias, and my 6822 as it has the Fantastic QWERTY keyboard layout, while still managing to be a small phone

The V3 I found to be buggy, unrealiable, piece of junk. My girlfriend had one, and every time you opened it, it shut down. 3 Times back to motorola still not fixed, even if it was plugged in and you opened it, you still had to restart it. She's now got a Nokia 6630, and it's the best phone she's ever had.

All in all, Avoid V3s, unless you don't actually need a mobile to ever work.

I really don't like the V3x, the V3i is much nicer to look at. But after using the SE K800i the V3i seems really quite lacking in features. The Motorola's are just not as well thought out when it comes to using them.
My ex partner has the V3i and I am glad I am not using it. The menus are not very user friendly, texting is nearly impossible!
