I know that a year ago, Orange, 02 and Vodafone sims gets cut off after 1/2 year if untouched (a simple call out even if un answered counts!)

BT if I remember right was part of 02 or was it Virgin ?

Kind of .. BT split it mobile arm (BT cellnet) into a sperate company called o2 (well mmo2, o2 was/is thr brand, they rename mmo2 to o2 towards the end of last year) about 3 years ago. BT started it own mobile division a year or 2 later...

That should clear ... err ... nothing up sorry. I'm not sure BT mobile currently do pay. I guess if sim card it over 3 years old it will be an o2 sim card and has more than likely expired.
