Thats a tough one. I dont know enough about the N70 really as i have switched from years of Nokia's to SE. The w800i is nice.
But if you can wait, there are some very nice new Sony Ericsson's just around the corner ;)
EDIT : Looking on www.mobile-review.com, i would probably lean towards the W800i.
n70 doesnt have a headphone socket..
i cant really wait. the n91 was gonna be my next big jump from the 6230. but since then ive kinda forgot about it. and had c550's, mdas. i got fed up with my mda and wanted to revert to a std fone, so sold the MDA last night and am back to my 6230.
my dads just got a w800i and n70, so i had a play last night, the keys really suck on the n70, and its quite big. this has also put me off the n91. as its quite big, when ideally it should be 8310 size!
i like the darker housing of the w810i. but dont need the EDGE facility that brings, so could go for the w800 and swap the housings at a later date.
its a tough call. i like the idea of having my tomtom inbuilt into one device, rather than having to carry my PDA around with me. but the c550 kind of wound me up so im wondering if all in one is a good solution.
its sooooo tough. i loved the 6230. and am going to find it difficult to switch, but personally the w800i is more like the 6230 than the n70, especially as nokia have butchered the keypad layout with the C (cancel, delete etc) button being way over --->
the only other advantage for the n70 is the fact its xHTML as opposed to the cHTML of the w800i.
wait for the 3250 perhaps? thats what i'm doing
But it does have a pop-port, and comes with a heatset.Quote:

i got the w800i the day it was released - i LOVE it
Just had a poke around the net, and it seem's the W810i, W900i and the k800i will be with us soon. Large amount of internal flash, stereo speakers, 3G, EDGE, QVGA and a 3.2 Mp camara anyone? Nice. With strong rumurs of a harddrive based walkman phone on its way too. Also, their P*** range is hotting up too.
And from some of tke leaked photo's on engadget, they look 1,000,000 times sexier than the Nokia's (smaller too).
I think I might see about trading/changing/buying to a W900 from the frankly abysmal mess of a SE K750i I had, it's been away for a week for repairs.. it's back and the bluetooth still doesn't work..
just picked up a k750i for £110+DEL. gonna flash it to w800i, maybe fit a w800 housing (prefer the blakc tbh)
just need to know can the w800/k750i charge through the usb data cable which i belive is supplied?
[e!]
right, got the k750i for £110, sony 512mb duo pro £20, w800i sonic stand £15 and another (usb + charger) DCU-60 + CST-60 for £8 totalling 155-160 all in for a w800i (add £20 for the fascia, if and when i get one - prefer the black of the k750i though) quite a cheap setup i think.
this will tide me by till a decent wifi phone comes along! im done with trying the fancy mda's and windows smart phones - for now anyway!
anyone?
Easy on the bumps, Vini.
Wait for the W900i. Should be out in a couple of months and it looks amazing.
Yes, Vini you can charge with the USB. But it's not 'optimised' charging so it takes a fair bit longer then a wall/car charger. May have some issues with USB hubs though.
