Sony Ericsson K750i and bluetooth headset question

My missus owns the SE K7500i. She used to use a P910i with a generic bluetooth headset with no problems, but with the new phone neither the old generic headset or a brand new SE bluetooth headset works properly.

Both pairs up with the phone no problems, but when she receives any incoming calls only the phone rings and not the headset, where as before with the P910i, the headset would ring in her ear.

Is there some setting I've missed on the phone? I've been through editting the profiles and all the bluetooth settings....

i use a motorola 810HS with my k750i (flashed to w800i) and it works as you mentioned the p910 did (rings in headset)

my in car profile looks like:

    Ring Volume 1
    Silent Mode On
    Increasing Ring Off
    Vibrating Alert On
    Key Sound Silent
    Divert Calls Off
    Accept Calls All Callers
    Answering Mode Any Key

I've given up with bluetooth on my K750i, it just doesn't work at all, it's been off for repair and it still doesn't work

Gone back to my old S700, and that works fine..

I don't think I'll bother with any more of the K7xx range, none of them have been reliable from a software point of view.

I had no problems with my K750 at all.

If your phone is NOT on orange, you may be able to update the firmware on the phone via the Sony Ericsson website with the DU-60 USB cable that came with the phone.

Will this delete all the info she's stored on the phone? (ie. contacts, txts, etc?)

The software upgrade shouldn't, no, but to be safe, use the SE suite that came on the CD to back up the phone first

Did that as one of the first things I tried and it made no difference, sent to to a repair centre after that, and it still made no difference.

SE's quality control just leaves a little to be desired, as the lemon proportion is still too high.

    Same problem as you Stoo.

I've tried updating the software, but it comes up as the latest version already....
