The smart thing to do right now is get the W800i, which come with far better headphones and larger memory card. Then buy a K750i housing off eBay.

But i would wait, Sony Ericsson have some very good looking phones coming out soon, including one with 4gig mem built in.

to be honest, i think 'soon' might be an exaggeration - theres often a >6 month wait from product announcement to actual products being available on the market..

I think the W950 is slated for October if i remember the release info right. Still waiting for the W9xx announcement that has dual cameras built in. Apparently the housing for the W950 already has the moulding for both rear and front cameras, a 3.2mp is suspected for the rear camera

    Hi all,

Could someone who has this phone check to see if you can listen to MP3's via a Bluetooth earpiece please?
I'm looking to get another phone but doesn't seem to be many that support this feature!!

    TIA

I don't think any of the current phones support this feature. The new ones will (like the W950) as they support the new high speed bluetooth profiles. The stereo headset standard does have a specific name, i just can't remember what it is

    Hi Funk,

The only phones I know that supports this for sure are the Samsung D600 (nice, but too expensive at the moment) and the pig ugly Nokia 6630. The profile is called the 'Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)'.
I've tried emailing the various manufacturers but they are less than useless!!

    Regards

A2DP, thats the one it's a pretty new feature and requires the newest bluetooth chips and specification, so there isn't going to be anything but high end phones supporting this for the time being.

I guess it would be possible for the phone to route music out to a bluetooth head set, but it will only be in mono, and reduced quality too. BUt that would be dependant on the phones software.
