Anyone got a O2 XDA Exec?

Might get one of these little babies. What are the pros and cons? Is there a decent GPS add-on?

Two lads at work got them, one sent it back because it was ridiculously ****e as a phone.

Seriously, it should come with it's own rucksack.

I would advise against it tbh..

I also know of two ppl with this device... it will be fine as a pda albeit a little buggy (windows mobile 5 being quite newish)..

but incoming calls have been known to drop.. and also connections whilst in conversation will cut out too..

I have a similar problem with my XDA IIi on the calls part (NOT all the time though)

Still it is a good price.. if you could trial it for a week or two that would be best. to see if it suits you and you dont have too many problems with it.

I've been interested in this phone for quite some time, the only thing putting me off is its brickishness, I was waiting for the XDA Exec II or something (hoping it would be slightly more compact).

I might just go for the Mini and get GPS for it. Dont need 3G and dont want to make video calls, i hate the idea personally.

my dads friend came today and he has one (which I didn't know about) and let me say OMG that phone is freaking ownage!!! It is quite big but not as big as I expected it to be, easily fit into a jacket pocket (perhaps way it down somewhat but still..). Anyway it was superb, he had GPS on it and tons of software. Truly amazing piece of kit!
