are there 2 types of k800i? (a 3g one and none 3g one?)

or, is there just one which when unlocked does all networks?

reason i ask is that previously, 2 versions of some phones have been released, 3 versions and non-3 versions.

and as i've just joined three, im after a k800i that supports it

I got one recently, believe me you will not be dissapointed. Went in expecting to buy an e900, they were sold out and I'm so glad they were, it's so nice, feels very solid, I especially like the brushed aluminium front, and the camera is superb, you can use it as a substitute for a digital camera if you're taking snaps.

I like the K800i, but i think it was ashame that they never included the onboard GFX card they said that would include, but i think il wait for the next version of the phone, as my k750i does me for now.

The K800i is still miles away from the nearest competition though.

I went from a 750 to the 800, I miss the ability to have the camera light on as a torch, damned usefull that, and I dont like the way its easy to catch the camera slide cover.

Not K750i like, but.. better than nowt.

The main factor for not being 'torchable' is that the flash on the k800 is a xenon flash, meaning not only is battery power a factor but the flash cannot be kept more that a few seconds on because it will burn itself up.

    [e!] my only niggles are:

    - having to put the phone in file transfer mode when using the USB.
    - unstable bluetooth/firmware (R1CD001)
    - m2 micro card :/
    - cant unlock the mofo yet.

If it wasn't for the m2 memory card i would have upgraded to a K800 by now. Still waiting for either the W850, P990 or W950 with a memory card slot (although i think if the last one happens, it will be an m2 as the M600i has one and they are similar hardware)

Theyre the same, so yes the W950i has m2, granted its the future. but whats stopping the cards getting even smaller and us having to buy and m3 ultramicro card in the next gen phones.

    kinda sucks.

re: as i was saying before the software we have doesnt actually do k800 yet your right i thought it did
but it appears alot of the phones on 02 are actually sim free so are unlocked..

yeah. i don't like these tiny cards, seem to easy to break or loose. Also what is the point if they can't get the capacieies? I read the P990 will support an 8gig Duo card that does it for me

I'm having serious issues with Bluetooth on this thing.

When trying to send pics from phone to PC i find the K800 almost always crashes midway through the send.

    Anyone else had similar?
