    Orange w810i warranty

    After trolling through their terms and conditions I still couldn't find anything so I thought I'd ask you guys and gals...

    If a handset on the Orange network was to start malfunctioning within 12 months of purchase, but wasn't covered under 'Orange Care insurance', would it still be possible to get a replacement handset / repair?

    if the malfunction is not caused by you or something you did which was careless (left the phone out in the rain etc) the manufacturers warranty should cover it for the duration of the contract (or 12 months). Ring up or pop into a shop, say your phone is not working right (describe the malfunctions) and see what they say?

    if ur definition of malfunctioning was under normal conditions, ie a manufactureres defect, if from carphonewarehouse then u shold be able to take it into drop in repair centre , try CPW first,, becase its free . dont have to send back postage costs ..

    otherwise contact sony ericions direct and they shld give a reference number to return it back under.... i rmbr becase i had to send my frnd k750i back to SE direct bcoz it kept freezing
