    w950 + ntlworld email probs

i have a w950 ive tried setting it up to be able to download my emails from my ntlworld account.
Ive tried setting it up manually and using the sony ericson webby but for the life of me i cant get it to work, it just says my connection has been refused, my password and username are correct
Has anyone else tried this and managed to get it to work ?

never used NTLs email system so i don't know what it is like or how to set it up.

But some thoughts still the same. Perhaps NTL is blovking the connection through the mobile Network, stranger things have happened.

Do you have any other POP3 or IMAP accounts on different servers you could try to log into? if they set up correctly then that would indicate an NTL issue.

ill see if the tech support guy at work will let me connect to my work email account but thats the only other pop3 account i have.
I tried this with my w800 as well and i couldnt get it work either, so perhaps ntl are some how blocking the connection i dont see why they would

can you connect to them outside of the NTL network? Perhaps they only allow direct connection to their mail servers if you are using an NTL line.

Or there is the rival-mobil-operator-conspiracy-theory, NTL are part of the Virgin group now after all
