N93 Battery Life Atrocious (any help?)

Has anybody had any experience with an n93 aside from myself who could shed some light?
Ive got the absolute latest firmware on mine : V20
which while making the phone much better and rid of most bugs, the battery life im getting is utterly shocking.

Can anyone share with me the battery times roughly they are getting from it?

Im getting off the first bar within 3 hours of moderate use - some mp3s over loudspeaker, a little bit of movie playback and some snake with music in the background and already my first battery bar is gone.

My SPV M3100 has a similar capcity battery, and despite having a faster processor, bulkier OS and more stuff to cater for I could comfortably get a good 3-4 days from it between charges with some wifi usage!
I hear on forums some people report getting 2-3 days from an n93?!
I cant see how, what on earth must people be just leaving it flip closed all the time?

Im in 2G mode only, no wifi and no bluetooth / IR and my battery seems to be dived within a day or sometimes half a day...
Id be happy if i could COMFORTABLY get a days use out of it.
Im starting to question how nokia can label this battery 1100mah as i understand theres a 970mah variant of the BP6M running around as well...

Anyone got any tips / extended battery recommendations or any reply they can offer to help me?

The quickest drain on any modern phone's battery life is the screen. Seeing as yours has a large colour one powered by a 3D GPU, every time you use it for games or video playback you will be draining it more quickly than you would if you where in a phone call.

Other than that, it is possible you are getting short battery life because the battery is faulty, or very new. If after 5 or so charges, you still get poor battery life, it might be worth buying a second battery to see if it lasts better.

I work for Nokia btw, though I don't know anything specific about the n93

turn off 3g if you don't use it much. This can halve your battery life when on.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
