    Question S60 v3 Symbian Text-Based Web Browser..?

as name states... is there one available for my nokia n73? because in theory if im not downloading images im not using download bandwidth (which is what my web browsing costs are derived from? per MB right?) so downloading it in mere text should take up alot less bandwidth so hardly any costs for browsing yeah?
so is there a browser that will run on my n73 and would my theory work of bandwidth/costs?
    cheers

Good riddance. Wish I'd done it about a year ago.

If you turn the images off then they won't get downloaded at all.

The alternative is to use Opera Mini. It goes through a proxy which compresses the data, so it might speed things up for you. Opera Mobile is also available for S60 v3 but I don't think it uses the proxy. Again, you can turn images off with both versions.

can you not turn images off in the stock one? Its opera isnt it, so i imagine theres a way.
The default browser is the Nokia OSS browser and it's rather good. Especially the new version for S60 v3.1.
