Dont use the MS official one. Its utterly wrong in points. Some of the excersizes run you through doing things that simply aren;t possible with exchange 2003 like setting up the exchange services to use a service account. Muppets.

I've got a load of MCSE books at work, but I don't read them. Practice makes perfect to be honest

I prefer the Sybex books to MS. Grab a copy of Exchange 2003, put it on a machine and teach yourself.

Sticking it on a spare machine or a virtual machine and learning by doing so to speak is a good way to get to grips.
As for the MS books - they do often have a surprising amount of errata.

Learnkey training (learnkey.com) is good but pricey (unless you can get your work to pay )

Thanks guys, I think I'll go for a sybex one as I've used them before.

I already have a VM 2003 server with Exchange running on it but just want a book for refereance and to find out a bit more.

    Cheers guys
