    sdk tools for mobile phones

    Hi does anyone know where i can find sdk tools/ emulators for creating programs for samsung and LG using java?

    i have got the nokia and sony ericson one's but i cannot find others for samsung, Sharp and LG.

    some firms are better than others for mobile phone SDKs. the pacific rim firms are amongst the worst.

    if you download J2ME (Java2 Mobile Edition) you should find that any emulator that supports your phones resolution will let you 'get a feal'

    As far as doing anything really good goes, under java you'll find that hard.

    yea i have already downloaded the j2me stuff already. so your saying that those specific company's do not have sdk/emulators? umm can those phones run java apps by any chance?

    i'm not saying that at all, just that as a plebian, getting hold of emulators for some firms is rather terribly hard, and that pacific rim firms, in general, are bad at this.

    It really depends on each model as to what it supports.

    ahh i see ok then. im planing on creating a j2me game that can be run on most up to date phones out at the moment. its a shame theirs no sdk/emulators for samsung has they have a good range of phones out their

    If you sign up to the Network operator developer forums you can get yourself some of these emulators no problem, It depends on which network operator you can convince that you should be allowed access but there are no end of sdk's available for the orange/o2 ranges at present.
