    OK, when I build my new rig I want to tripple boot XP-64, Vista-64 & SuSE.

    In which sequence should I install?

    it would not really matter as long as open suse is last. grub will replace all of the boot loaders

    Unfortunately Windows will do the same whether you like it or not come next reinstall.
