Is it possible to find out if one's computer has been turned on whilst one has been away?
I was just wondering if there was some kind of log that windows keeps giving boot up times,dates, durations etc?

I'm just curious to know if the people looking after my house while I have been away have been snooping in my hard drive.

what OS does it run?

start, control pannel, administrative tools, event viewer, system

order by date, look for events on dates that shouldn't be there (where a certain number of events are logged when the pc is turned on)

Isn't that what windows passwords are for? Perhaps the rocker switch on the PSU for newbies too.
