It is the contribution that really counts... The certs/badges are just sweetners. Don't forget though, my next cert/badge won't be until 50,000 wus!

Yes I'll continue making my contribution - it's just that when I don't get thru many WU's compared to a lot of members, it feels that much better when I'm getting closer to a new badge

Dazbo, are you using the GUI client or what for seti? its just i use the CLi one along with SETIdriver which means i can queue workunits and get them to auto transmit and all kinds of funky stuff might help you boost your WUs/day

Well, BOINC is now in beta and every new version that comes out appears to be more stable and compatible than the last. I think I'd be looking a February/March date that I'd go gold.

I'm already using the CLi version - it's just that my PC at home doesn't usually stay on for many hours in a day....

Glad to report I just got thru the 900 unit mark -

Will probably stay with SETI till I get the 1000, then maybe go over and try out the BOINC application?
