Aero on Inspiron 6400 Intel graphics

Is anyone running an Inspiron 6400 with Aero? Does it all work ok with the Intel Calistoga 945 graphics? Or does it grind things to a halt?

The rest of it is nippy, but I think these are the bog standard graphics for peasants.

Running a 945G in my HTPC (mobile chip and board), and it's all fine with aero.

Have to confess I've just bought a 7100GS for it, but that was more to do with 1920x1200 not being much fun in Media Center - got a bit sluggish in the menus.

    Thanks mate .

I'm also pondering if to go 64bit or not. all the drivers are available on the Dell site, so can anyone think of any reason why i SHOULDNT go for 64bit vista on a c2d inspiron 6400?

    Thanks

I've got a friend holding off on his XPS 1210 (I think) as the touch pad drivers aren't available for Vista x64.
