Loads of people use my computer and some idiot went and deleted a composition that I had done but accident, is there any way of password protecting certain folders? Luckily it was in the recycle bin but I'd rather it didn't happen again
Thanks

I only have one username, I hate the welcome screen. Is there no way of just password protecting a file? I dont mind 3rd party stuff as long as its free![]()

True Crypt any good? Never used it myself though...
depending on how big the file/files are, put them on a usb disk or something maybe?

so you want fine-grained OS-based file access control, but don't want fine-grained OS-based file access control?
yeah, that makes sense
either use the facilities given to you to do EXACTLY what you're asking for, or get a half-arsed solution that will not and cannot prevent deletion (merely reading or modification)
That made sense?![]()
