keylogger?which one for symantec av corp?is it illegal to use these?

hi, I've always wondered how thin the line of legality was for keyloggers?see i want to use one to keep a log of peoples activity's on my network.we use symantec corporate edition as the anti virus and i've heard that anti virus's defend against keylogger attacks/installation?
what i want to know is what one will work and not be removed by symantec corp and that will remain stealth and untraceable to our users...
what would you recommend?we run xp sp2... any free ones or if not any with a demo that we can try before we buy?
thankyou for your information regarding this.

i think it is illegal without the user knowing , there is some software that does that, but if you use a keylogger most a/v software will detect and uninstall it, unless you program your own

Good riddance. Wish I'd done it about a year ago.

You don't ever need a keylogger to keep track of policy compliance.

Keyloggers are indeed illegal for tracking users unless there is an explicit statement in the contract of the employee to state this is being done.

The post is more in the style of a 13 year old, poor grammar ie: activity's and what i want to know is what one will work and not be removed by symantec corp and that will remain stealth and untraceable to our users... ?! etc,

    laughable

VNC, really. I'm sure that things are tough managing "your network" but a keylogger is not required.
