    Angry File Associations

I have many different video file types and one of the things which really bugs me is that they keep changing their default applications all the damn time. Is there any way to permanently make a file open with a certain application as the "always open this type of file" selection in windows doesn't seem to stick.

it wqon't stick if an application is saying "oi i'm not associated with this and i'm more important, pick meeee"

check options screens in all potential troublemakers and make sure they're associated with NOTHING. then you should be able to make your own decisions stick.
