    Executing commands over remote desktop

    Short Version
    --

I have a Windows remote desktop session to a server. From my local PC I'd like to be able to execute a command on that remote desktop session. Is there any way of doing this?

    Long Version
    --
    I have the following:

    Server 1 ---- client ---- Server 2

Server 2 cannot see Server 1
Server 2 can mount client's drives via Windows remote desktop
I need client to execute a command on server 2, and then push the results to Server 1

Any ideas? Is this even possible?

Why do you need the results back on the server 1?

If you are connected to Server 2 via Remote Desktop then you can run any program you like on Server 2.

Right, but that's not what I'm trying to do.

I'm trying to use an existing remote desktop connection to run the command from "client". ie run something on client and have it spawn a process on server2.

Basically server2 mounts client's drive as Z: and Z: contains a few utilities which drop a load of log files.

Currently I hop onto server2 via RDP, run the command on RDP, then have to run a separate command on client to upload the logs to server1 (SQL server).

I'd like to have just one command to do the lot.

can you use pstools to execute the command on server2 and have a script run every x hours/mins on client to upload the logs?
