The latest version of Ubuntu (7.04) will allow you to resize an existing partition, very useful if you want to preserve your existing OS

the same is true of 6.10, 6.06, 5.10, and 5.04. i.e. the feature's been there for 2 years.

cant wait for the final version 7.10 later in the year maybe it will sort out a few bugs here and there.

7.10 will be released in october. it's not a "final" anything - ubuntu releases just happen every 6 months, and that's all there is to it
