Firefox rocks compared to IE. Would never go back to ms's bloatware!

i like firefox too, but i always download with ie, i just like the download system better, i got the aio sidebar with firefox which makes it kinda like opera and the download speeds hardly show, if firefox had opera speeds it would be cool.

I love Firefox for being so easy for a noob like me to grasp and suss.

    I owe it a lot.

I've found the major bug count in firefox increase with each sequencal release, especially the Linux builds, it seems that the platform that made it a reality is being sadly neglected by Mozilla, and it's release roadmap confirms it. So I usually use Konqueror in Linux, but stick to firefox during my occasional windows sessions.

I've noticed ff getting buggier too, I never had a crash with 1.0 but with the newer releases they're getting more common.

I Use FF, but only because im cheap. If opera was free it'd get used everyday of the week. Already use it on my phone, where its approximately 1 million times better than either minimo or ie.

    Opera is 'very' free http://www.opera.com/download/

I downloaded it last month, I normally use FF but it eat's my computers memory. Not a scientific test but Opera appears to use a half to a third less ram on my system than FF.

Same here, <=1.0 would never crash, it was rock solid all the time. Now though it crashes all the time. It is very buggy, so much so that I have been thrown into using an alpha of version 3 since 2.0 would crash each time I hovered over a link. It was extremely frustrating and imo FF isn't as good as people are making out these days. Much better than IE but not as good as opera. Opening lots of tabs in opera doesn't crash it. Do the same in FF and it dies a very sad death.

I still use it over opera because I hate the opera GUI and menu system. Everything is much clearer and better laid out in FF.
