Anyone wanna help me out who owns Acrobat 8?

    Hey,

I'm looking for a favour from some kind person.
I have recently done my CV in Photoshop (yeah, I know it's a bit mad) and I want it in .PDF format. I have saved each of the 2 pages in .PDF format, but now I have two separate files.

I'm told that in order to join them as a single two-paged .PDF I need Acrobat 8 to make them as one.
I only have the reader, not Acrobat.

I don't suppose anyone would let me send them the two pages so they can make them a single file? I've tried for ages to figure out how else to do it...to no avail.

    Cheers.

There's quite a number of free pdf writers on the net that let you save / print from word / IE / etc straight to a pdf document... google.com or download.com should be able to find you one.

I do use 'PrimoPDF' which 'prints' to a PDF but I am going from Photoshop. I have tried saving the Photoshop document as a BMP and inserting it into word, but it comes out crap quality. It'd be simpler just to join the two in a PDF.

why? "apt-cache search pdf merge" returned three different things. rather than try and borrow somebody's several-hundred-quid piece of software, why not just use a tool that's available for free? in the time taken to post the original question, a *nix machine could have done the job ten times over

    Sorry, I don't run Linux.
I have recently been dabbling with Ubuntu though...or is that for 'n00bs'?
    I didn't get far.
