How to schedule windows to restart at certain time?

Ok, I did search on the net about this, but could not find any workable solution.

Conventional method with task scheduler does not work without username and password being used. As i don't use logon password for my username, I can't get this working.

Can anybody out there please help me out with this, possibly without installing any third party software within windows.

I know u said u didnt want any thrid party installs but for the sake of 200kB you could try, Chrono Shutdown >>> HERE <<< its worked every time for me. U dont even installl it. Just run the program and thats it

Will this software boot the system from a cold start?

I can't see anyway for a software app to turn on a system when it's off.

STR (Suspend to RAM) could be used, so the system is effectively powered down, and brought out of suspend mode when requested. The motherboard + system would need to support it though - STR is flakey at best :S

You need something to send a magic packet to a wake on lan enabled motherboard. My old PCCHIPS 810lmr had one but I never got round to playing with it. I assume you can send a magic packet from another PC without any special hardware.
