Software to reduce jpg file size?

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a simple one click software that reduces the file size of jpg's? Need a simple one for my gf and must be able to compress many with one click.

Piccies my gf take come to about 2mb in size. So when she uploads them to Facebook or send it to peeps it takes a long time.

So, my quickish simple method (for short # of pics) is to open them in ACDSee, windows viewer etc and resave them. But once there are lots...it takes ages!

    Any suggestions? Thanks very much...

I used a program ages ago to do this, can't remember what it was called but a quick google for 'bulk jpeg resizer' should give you plenty of options.

    Get a new girlfriend?

I use FastStone Resize for tasks such as this, but it's not a one-click process. It's double that - does have much more power when it's needed though

(more adding to the thread for others rather than giving a direct recommendation, now that the problem's solved)

I use Irfanview, press B, drag the files, set output to JPG, start, and you get small JPGs.
You could even go to the advanced option and set it to resize to 50% (i.e. 200x200 to 100x100)
Best of all, it is free
