    Vista - Hard Drive space

    Hi guys

I see Vista claims you need 15Gb of free HDD space, but I've heard conflicting reports that this is only for the install process, and that post install it only takes up about 7 GB. Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Cheers

I'm running Vista on 38GB at the moment. I also have at least 20 installed applications & I have around 20GB left.

My guess is I'm using 8GB Vista and 10GB apps.

The new installed vista will be around 8G. So you'd better to double that size to allow to install softwares later on.
