    nero vision alternative for ubuntu.

    i've tried devede and manDVD and both screw up the audio into scratchy sounds on my dvd players/ps2/xbox etc... is this a codec problem or a lack of support for a codec in the actual programs?
    I'm personally not sure either way but is there an alternative program for ubuntu 7.0.4 that will take any audio/video formats that i throw at it and convert them into dvd?

    linux alternative to Nero

    K3B gets incredibly close

    it's originally a burning program (as Nero was) - I think it's possible even more reliable (tricky call)

    in it's latest version - as compatible with Feisty level (v7.04?) Ubuntu / Kubuntu it also rips a great many audio formats.

    Haven't tried videos.

    speardane is spot on I use K3B and have not had a problem with it.
