    Windows Easy Transfer

Yo guys, this is my first post ever so go easy on me. I have just installed Vista Ultimate, a dual-boot with XP Pro, i have run the easy transfer tool on XP and then save the Mig file on another drive on the same computer. I then proceed to reboot to vista and run the saved file which seems to be ok. However, i'm not able to view & access any of my applications which are installed via the XP partition, why? Must i reinstall all of programs via the Vista partition?

In a word yes - the migration wizard will only take care of your documents and profile related stuff.
