Excel Find and Replace

Hey folks, I have an odd issue with Excel that is driving me nuts!

I'm currently working through a big spreadsheet, doing various VLookups etc, and I'm copying some entries into notepad, for other stuff I'm doing, every time I use the Find/Replace function to search for duplicates in the speadsheet, it seems to move down a few pixels each time - so by the time I've done 10 or so, its almost off the bottom of the screen - and I have no idea why!

Any ideas?

damn, it's really rather annoying having to drage it up every 10/15 F&R's!

Couldn't you just use 'find/replace all' and get them all in one go?

Nah, I'm just using it to find all instances of a value - it's the same dialog box though, so I dont actually need it for anything other than finding stuff.

If you are trying to find a value, couldn't you either sort the data by that column? or alternatively use the autofilter function?

Either of these would enable you to find lots of rows with a particular value in one fell swoop.
