    Lightscribe Labelling

I'm a bit new to this so I'm not sure where i'm going wrong. Samsung SH-S183L is the drive in question. Writes really well by the way. I'm trying to use nero coverdesigner to print the images onto the HP lightscribe discs but it's not working. The lightscribe labeller does work and labels the disc fine.

I basically want to put a black and white picture onto the disc so I just dragged the picture onto the nero coverdesigner and let the software do the rest. It didn't put the picture on though. Any ideas??

just tried it here on two light scribe drives - exactly as you said. Works fine.

However I've just read that if you installed nero before you had a lightscribe drive in your machine eg: you installed the drive post nero install, nero will not be aware of the drive (depending on the version) you may have to re-install nero to detect a light scribe enabled device at install time.

so therefore the problem is with nero - did you install nero before or after a lightscribe enabled device was in your system.

I'm not quite sure as they were very close to one another. I think I installed nero after installing the new drive however there is a slight possibility nero was installed first. I'll try a reinstall of nero. I assume this is now the only problem there could be
