    'Contact Me' Verification

Can anyone tell me how you would go about getting a non-OCR verification for a website?

What I mean is those wavy letter verification things so that spiders can't send e-mail to you via your 'contact me' pages.

Is it a little off the shelf application or is it something you have to program yourself?

    Any help gratefully received

You mean a CAPTCHA I think. I'm not a web-dev at all, but a bit of googling (yes, I used Google, so I believe I'm allowed to use that term!) might help. Also I'm sure there are more web-savvy people than I around these parts!

picking a CAPTCHA will depend on what your web server runs - do you use PHP? JSP? ASP.NET? you'll need *some* kind of active language

    also consider kittenauth
