Alright chaps,
I've got an Xvid file to watch, which I use VLC for, as its the best media player I've found. Anyway, it has 2 audio tracks, audio track 1 (French) and audio track 2 (English).
Its only a few seconds to go to the menus and change from track 1 to track 2, but is there anyway I can set track 2 as the default audio track, so it plays in English right off the bat, when I open it?

I'm almost certain you'll be able to set it from the command line, but that'll require you to create a shortcut to the video file and specify the required parameters in that shortcut.
VLC won't remember your options.
