    Benchmarking Software

    Hello all,

    I am trying to optimise my system and see where the bottlenecks (if any are). I always build my own pcs, and find myself feeling liek they arent ever fast enough.

    My current spec thouggh, I know is pretty up to date;
    Asus p5b-deluxe, e6600 @ stock, 7800gtx @ stock, 2gb of KHX6400D2/1G (KINGSTON hyperX), stock cooling, 1 raptor 74gb for os/apps/games, 2 other disk for misc.

    I feel like the machine is sluggish, not instantly responsive etc. So i need a good benchmarking tool to see how my box fairs compared to others.

    Also a guide winxpsp2 tweaking/optimising guide etc.

    And whats the best cooler to buy for the e6600 as i plan ot over clock it soon.

    Regards

    sandra (sisoft) is pretty good at all round system benching/scoring/testing.

    Cooler, tuniq tower is one of the best, and quietest.
