Virgin media seem to have switched off my old website...

Does anyone know when this happened and whether it's everyone's site's they've switched off?

are you still signed up with VM for t'internet?
Surely he wouldn't have asked that question if he wasn't with them anymore? That'd be like noticing an old door key doesn't work now to the house you lived in ten years ago & then complaining when you see through the window that the place has been redecorated. ...But then if GWB can be president I suppose anything's possible.
he did say his "old website" though which to me at least raised a certain amount of doubt.
I've recently moved house, and apparently I've got the same account, username etc, but I've downgraded to the 2mb service...
It's old in that I don't put anything fresh there, but I still have stuff on there.

Oh dear, maybe this is another example of things getting worse with VM. My guess would be the account switchover has lead to them screwing up. Hope you've got a backup. Can you ftp to the webspace you should have under the current 'new' acount?
Looks like you should have written "had stuff on there. "
Best to try customer services, assuming they ever make sense & don't charge premium rates to get in touch.
Yeah, fair point. I did notice that & hesitated, but then I thought 'nah, nobody...'
Okay, maybe GWB, but then he'd have filtered himself out of consideration on account of never being able to get a site up in the first instance. I somehow doubt he can manage his own pin never mind an ftp client.
